Let me preface this section by saying that, as many of you know), I admire the Jewish people. I feel that it is important that EVERYONE undertands how important Israeli-American relations are.
CarolynsVoice Jan. 2012 The Obama regime is in negotiations with the Taliban to bring a settlement in Afghanistan. The deal releases of five Taliban prisoners being held in Gitmo, in exchange for peace negotiations and the Taliban agreeing to open an office in Qatar. This makes me crazy. We could have stopped Iran from getting nuclear capabilities if we didn't have a candy ass at the helm. Russia sold "the blueprints" to Iran. Does anyone remember when when Iran took our Embasy hostage for 444 days? Pres. Jimmy Carter, worst president in history... before Obama beat him out of it. Within HOURS of Ronald Reagan taking the Presidential oath, the hostages were freed.
Arizona Sen. John McCain says Obama’s failure to support anti-government protesters in Iran in 2009 is “one of the huge mistakes in history. The electorate held up signs that said, "America Help Us! Obama didn't do a thing'. He stuck his nose in every other "Arab Spring" protest, which led the Muslim Brotherhood to power. McCain went on to say, "Obama’s policies in Iraq and Afghanistan, and his cuts to the military, have left the country “in the greatest peril” since the Jimmy Carter presidency."
The Egypt-Israeli Peace Treaty was signed in March 1979. Egyptian President Anwar El Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin came to an agreement in which Israel gave land, to the Arabs in exchange for the Israelis to be left in peace. Jimmy Carter witnessed it and in fact received his Nobel Peace Prize for the negotiations. We gave our word that if Egypt ever fell to the Islam that we would back them 100%. With the birth of the "Arab Spring" came the death of the Egyptian-Israeli peace. The Muslim Brotherhood jihadist regime makes clear that the treaty is in the crapper. Samantha Power, Obama's advisor on foreign policy, said, "we have to stop investing in Israel and start investing in this new Palestinian state...To Mammoth Proportions." S

The rise of the forces of jihadist Islam in Egypt places the US and other Western powers in an uncomfortable position. The US is the guarantor of Egypt's peace treaty with Israel. That treaty is based on the proposition of land for peace. Israel gave Egypt the Sinai in 1982 and in exchange it received a peace treaty with Egypt. Now that the Islamists, (The Muslim Broterhood), are poised to take power, the treaty is effectively null and void.
The question naturally arises: Will the US act in accordance with its role as guarantor of the peace and demand that the new Egyptian government give Sinai back to Israel? Because if the Obama administration or whatever administration is in power when Egypt abrogates the treaty does not issue such a demand, and stand behind it, and if the EU does not support the demand, the entire concept of land-for-peace will be exposed as a hoax.
Indeed the land-for-peace formula will be exposed as a twofold fiction. First, it is based on the false proposition that the peace process is a two-way street. Israel gives land, the Arabs give peace. But the inevitable death of the Egyptian-Israeli peace accord under an Egyptian jihadist regime makes clear that the land-for-peace formula is a one-way street. Israeli land giveaways are permanent. Arab commitments to peace can be revoked at any time.
Then there are the supposedly iron-clad US and European security guarantees that accompany signed treaties. All the American and European promises to Israel - that they will stand by the Jewish state when it takes risks for peace - will be exposed as worthless lies. As we are already seeing today, no one will stand up for Israel's rights. No one will insist that the Egyptians honor their bargain. I can not remember one time when America has gone back on her word!
As it has become more apparent that the Muslim Brotherhood and Salafist parties will hold an absolute majority in Egypt's democratically elected parliament, Western governments and media outlets have insistently argued that these anti-Western, and anti-Jewish, movements have become moderate and pragmatic. Leading the charge to make the case has been the Obama administration. Its senior officials have eagerly embraced the Muslim Brotherhood. Indeed, the spiritual head of the Muslim Brotherhood Yusuf Qaradawi is reportedly mediating negotiations between the US and the Taliban.
Qaradawi, an Egyptian who has been based in Qatar since 1961, when he was forced to flee Egypt due to his jihadist politics, made a triumphant return to his native land last February following the overthrow of president Hosni Mubarak. Speaking to a crowd of an estimated two million people in Cairo's Tahrir Square, Qaradawi led them in a chant calling for them to invade Jerusalem.

As to the Palestinian Authority, this week’s Fatah-Hamas coalition negotiations in Cairo revealed the depth and breadth of Hamas’s control over the unity government now being formed. Despite massive American pressure, Hamas successfully vetoed Fatah’s bid to retain Salam Fayyad as prime minister in the unity government.
Moreover, in the face of significant international pressure, Hamas maintains its refusal to accept the so-called Quartet conditions of recognizing Israel, ending terrorism and agreeing to respect all previous agreements signed between the Palestinians and Israel.
Given Hamas’s maintenance of its annihilationist goals toward Israel and Fatah’s inability to convince Hamas to accept its minimal demands, it is obvious that Hamas is the stronger force in the Palestinian unity government. It is also clear that this government will not under any circumstances agree to make peace with Israel.
And yet, in the face of these realities, US President Barack Obama is intensifying his pressure on Israel to agree to the now-powerless Fatah’s preconditions for negotiating. Indeed, he has adopted Fatah’s preconditions as his own.
Obama is demanding that Israel agree to surrender its right to defensible borders by insisting that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu accept the pre-1967 boundaries – that is the 1949 armistice lines – as the starting point for future negotiations. Since Obama surely recognizes that a Hamas-controlled Palestinian Authority will not accept Israeli control over anything from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to the Jordan Valley, he knows that he is requiring that Israel surrender its right to defensible borders before it even begins negotiating.

The Defense Department announced Wednesday thit is seeking the death penalty against a Guantanamo Bay detainee in connection with the USS Cole bombing in Yemen more than a decade ago.
Military prosecutors have re-filed terrorism and murder charges against Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, of Saudi Arabia, the first case to move forward since President Obama ordered military trials to resume at Guantanamo Bay. The charges allege that Al-Nashiri led the planning and preparation for the USS Cole attack that blew a hole in the ship, killing 17 sailors and wounding another 40.
Al-Nashiri was first char,,ed in 2008, but those charges were later withdrawn after President Obama took office, as his administration undertook a sweeping review of the Guantanamo Bay detention program. Al-Nashiri had been waterboarded during the Bush administration. I pointed out many times in this webcast, waterboarding is uncomfortable. It involves 20 SECNDS of the FEELING of drowning. See, "bin Laden's Dead, BO is a Freaking Hyocrite"

The Defense Department said Wednesday that the suspect will now be charged with a number of severe counts, including murder in violation of the law of war, terrorism and attempted murder.
The charges are referred to the Convening Authority for Military Commissions, which presides over the war crimes tribunals at the U.S. base in Cuba.
The USS Cole case had already been designated for a military trial by Attorney General Eric Holder in November 2009. But because the process stalled for political reasons, it took more than 17 months for the case to move forward.
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the professed mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, will also be tried before a military commission. He gave the other 9/11 terrorists up when he was water boarded.
Holder had planned originally to try Mohammed in U.S. Federal Court in New York, but Congress intervened and made it illegal to bring suspected terrorist prisoners into the United States.

Aug.24, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the Justice Department said that "no charges are either pending or contemplated with respect to al-Nashiri, (the person responsible) in the near future." NOTE:

ASHVILLE, Tennessee -- Two Muslim religious leaders say they were asked to leave a commercial airliner in Memphis on Friday and were told it was because the pilot refused to fly with them aboard.
Masudur Rahman, who is also an adjunct instructor of Arabic at the University of Memphis, said by phone from the terminal at Memphis International Airport that he and another imam had already been allowed to board their Delta Connection flight to Charlotte, North Carolina before they were asked to get off the plane.
Transportation Security Administration spokesman Jon Allen in Atlanta confirmed the incident and said it was not initiated by that agency. He is a big wimp!
"We take security and safety very seriously and the event is currently under investigation," Atlantic Southeast spokesman Jarek Beem said Friday evening. As well you should!
Both passengers are Memphis-area residents. Rahman said he was dressed in traditional Indian clothing and his traveling companion was dressed in Arab garb, including traditional headgear.
The aircraft pulled away from the gate, but the pilot then announced the plane must return, Rahman said. When it did, the imams were asked to go back to the boarding gate where Rahman said they were told the pilot was refusing to accept them because some other passengers could be uncomfortable.Just think how this might have changed 9/11.
Rahman said Delta officials talked with the pilot for more than a half-hour, but he still refused. Good for him!
The men were taken to a lounge and booked on a later flight. Beem said they flew on a later flight.
"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused," Beem said.
The men contacted the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Muslim civil rights and advocacy group in Washington, D.C.
"It's racism and bias because of our religion and appearance and because of misinformation about our religion." Rahman said. "If they understood Islam, they wouldn't do this." We understand Islam, what we don't understand is how not one Muslim has spoken out against the terrorists.
He said a Delta manager apologized for the pilot's actions, but that he and Zaghloul never spoke directly with the pilot.
Ibrahim Hooper, of the American-Islamic organization, said the group will follow up with the airline and with the TSA to help ensure such incidents do not continue to occur.Bull, they need to occur more. The Ireal Airline ELAL, has never had a problem. What is wrong with racial profiing? The 2 Towes along with the people in them, might still be standing.
Hooper said airline officials at Memphis tried to resolve the situation, but the pilot refused.

How do I respond when I see that in some Islamic countries there is vitriolic hatred for America? I'll tell you how I respond: I'm amazed. I'm amazed that there is such misunderstanding of what our country is about, that people would hate us. I am, I am -- like most Americans, I just can't believe it. Because I know how good we are, and we've go to do a better job of making our case. We've got to do a better job of explaining to the people in the Middle East, for example, that we don't fight a war against Islam or Muslims. We don't hold any religion accountable. We're fighting evil. And these murderers have hijacked a great religion in order to justify their evil deeds. And we cannot let it stand.
--George W. Bush, press conference
March 2011
Obama won’t warn the American public about the dangers that Islamic extremism poses because he’s afraid of offending Muslims, former Reagan Cabinet member Bill Bennett tells
The main responsibility of the president of the United States is to keep the country safe and to identify the threats we have and make plain to the citizenry what we must do to protect ourselves,” Bennett said. “There’s been a failure of this administration to describe the nature of this threat . . . There’s a reluctance to talk about Islamic extremism.
“This is due to an unnecessary sensitivity to people’s religious sensitivities. We understand that Islam is a religion, a legitimate religion. Most American Muslims are loyal to America, but there is a problem with radical Islam and it needs to be stated plainly and simply.”
“This is due to an unnecessary sensitivity to people’s religious sensitivities. We understand that Islam is a religion, a legitimate religion. Most American Muslims are loyal to America, but there is a problem with radical Islam and it needs to be stated plainly and simply.”
There is a clear contrast between Reagan and Obama when it comes to dealing with their respective threats to the United States: communism and radical Islam, Bennett said.
“Reagan was clear and direct and, as he said, his strategy was, ‘We win,’” Bennett said. “Barack Obama’s strategy seems to be so far, we’ll muddle through, we’ll dither, we’ll maybe do the right thing occasionally but maybe too late and we want to be sure no one thinks that we think we’re anything special. I prefer the Reagan approach.”
Obama’s actions in Libya are typical of the bewildering message the administration has sent to the Middle East, where the United States has gone into eight countries in the past 20 years with the sole purpose of liberating Muslims, Bennett said.
“We have been . . . the greatest force for the liberation, freedom of people of the Islamic faith the world has ever seen . . . We are frankly the salvation of many Muslims who are in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere and possibly, maybe, in Libya and who knows what other places. But I’m afraid that message is confused.”
The Obama administration’s reluctance to confront radical Islam publicly has been used against the country. Leibsohn cited the Fort Hood, Texas, shootings, where Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan is alleged to have killed 13 and wounded dozens of others. Hasan spoke about “pouring hot oil down the throats of unbelievers . . . about killing infidels and no one wanted to say anything because they were afraid they would be called bigots or they would put at risk their careers,” Leibsohn said.
Bennett also commented on the mirror-image hearings on American Muslims that recently took place in the House and the Senate. Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., convened a hearing to look at the radicalization of American Muslims, while Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., called one on protecting the civil rights of American Muslims.
“It’s perfectly fine for both of them to have hearings, but you’re not going to hear the charges of McCarthyism made against Dick Durbin as they were made against Peter King,” he said. “Peter King is exactly right to talk about the question of the attempt to radicalize American Muslim youth.
“Right now in the world at large, three of the major leaders of al-Qaida in the world were either born or raised in the United States of America, that’s a frightening thing to hear. But we nurtured three leaders of al-Qaida international.
