This is still the pledge of the NAACP. I have always followed it. Do you think that today's members do? I went to the NAACP website and it was nowhere. Thank God I have a set of 1989 encylopedias-Carolyn 10/8/11

The Obama Administration’s taxpayer-funded Islamic defense program has been quite, filing several discrimination lawsuits on behalf of Muslims in different parts of the country and holding Justice Department meetings to discuss prosecuting “anti-Muslim hate speech.”
The legal actions come on the same week that the White House and various federal agencies—including the Department of Homeland Security—hosted a special workshop to provide members of radical Islamic groups with direct access to U.S. government funding, assistance and resources.
Now the administration is flexing its legal muscle in its ardent quest to befriend the enemy. A federal civil rights agency known as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has filed discrimination lawsuits against companies in Nebraska, California and Colorado for discriminating against Muslims by not accommodating prayer breaks and forbidding a headscarf on the job.
The government sued meatpacking plants in Greeley Colorado and Grand Island Nebraska for religious and racial harassment because dozens of Muslim employees were “denied prayer time” during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The lawsuit seeks changes to policies and procedures to accommodate Muslim workers, payment for past and future damages and punitive damages.
In a third lawsuit filed the EEOC claims that an outdoor apparel store discriminated against a Muslim female job applicant in northern California because she wore a headscarf known as a hijab. The company has a longstanding employee dress code banning any sort of head covering but the government asserts that in this particular case it’s discriminating on the basis of religion.
Justice Department met with a coalition of Islamic groups that demand the administration criminally prosecute anti-Muslim rhetoric as hate speech. Besides investing more resources to combat discrimination against Muslims, coalition leaders want Attorney General Eric Holder to “make a strong public statement” condemning hate crimes, harassment and discrimination against Muslims.

Justice Dept., (Eric Holder), dropped the black panthers voter's intimidation case. There was video evidence of their leader spurting, "I hate all crackers. I want to kill them all and their white babies. A black man with a white women is disgusting." In response the NAACP takes up a resolution against the Tea Party people.
"Crime, poverty and family breakdown of the African-American community were NOT caused by the Tea Party movement. The Tea Party principles are what's needed to curb multi-generational destruction in the black community." Bill Hennessey one of the Tea Party Members stated.

"Civil Rights Leaders Urge Congress to Pass Legislation Banning Racial Profiling" July 12, 2010 - Posted by Aaron Gregg
Civil rights groups support an end to racial profiling based not only on its discriminatory nature but on the fact that it simply doesn't work and wastes precious law enforcement resources. "Singling out African Americans, Latinos, Muslims, Arabs, and South Asians, Who the hell does that leave?for special law enforcement scrutiny without a reasonable belief that they are involved in a crime will result in little evidence of actual criminal activity and wastes important police resources," said Wade Henderson, president and CEO of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. "Racial profiling makes us all less safe, by distracting law enforcement from the pursuit of individuals who pose serious threats to security." Another stupid liberal remark. No, It does NOT make US ALL LESS SAFE! It makes the criminals more safe!
Research has consistently found that despite its ineffectiveness racial profiling is pervasive. A 2003 Leadership Conference Education Fund report found that racial profiling against Muslims, Arabs, Sikhs, and other South Asians increased in the wake of the terrorists attacks of September 11. No kidding. They needed research to tell them that? It wasn't the whites or blacks that killed 3000+ Americans.

The End Racial Profiling Act (ERPA), which was first introduced in 2001 but has yet to be introduced in this congressional term, would ban racial and ethnic profiling based on race, religion, ethnicity, and national origin by law enforcement at all levels of government. Civil rights groups said that ERPA must include a clear definition of what racial profiling is, programs to train law enforcement to recognize racial profiling and eliminate it, and an effective system to keep data about the prevalence of racial profiling. This means ONLY if you're white, you can go to jail.

When the Civil War ended, democrats initiated Jim Crow laws to keep the black man down. Democrats didn’t much like blacks. In fact, the KKK, was founded as the the terrorist wing of the Democrat Party.
The Ku Klux Klan assassinated many Republicans including Republican Representative James M. Hinds (December 5, 1833—October 22, 1868) of Little Rock. Hinds represented Arkansas in the United States Congress from June 24, 1868 through October 22, 1868.
In the history of America it was the democrats who repeatedly persecuted blacks
